State-of-the-art products presented by BS/2 at the Wincor World 2012 exhibition
Wednesday, October 17, 2012The 2012 installment of Wincor World, the annual specialist conference and exhibition, is underway in Rheda-Wiedenbrück, Germany. Organized by the Wincor Nixdorf company, the event has attracted 46 Wincor Nixdorf's partners from 90 countries around the world. They present the latest products, software, and services that help banking- and retail-sector companies optimize their operation using state-of-the-art technologies.
Alongside such international giants as Casio, Microsoft, Epson, and Motorola Solutions, the BS/2 company is taking part in the exhibition, as a Golden Partner. The company's exhibition stand provides conference attendees with detailed information about the .iQ family of software products designed for self-service devices. The family includes such products as ATMeye.iQ, SmartSafe.iQ, Payments.iQ, Brancheye.iQ, and others.
Says Denis Korobkov, BS/2's head of software sales: “With the problem of self-service device security becoming increasingly important, conference attendees are especially interested in ATMeye.iQ, a video surveillance and security solution. At the exhibition, we demonstrate how this solution can be used on mobile devices: having received a notification about an incident, you can use your smartphone or tablet to see, on the screen, what is going on around the ATM and then, if needed, to immediately call a security service or to even switch the ATM off.“
BS/2 now also offers the possibility to use the screen of your mobile device to monitor the video coming from internal cameras. The video coming from external cameras has now become wider: you can see not only the user's face and what operations he or she is performing, but also what is going on around the device. We would like to remind you that the new version of ATMeye.iQ, 1.1.3., supports up to 4 analog or USB video cameras.
Those visitors who stop by BS/2's exhibition stand also show interest in Payments.iQ, a solution that extends the standard functionality of self-service devices (such as ATMs, interactive kiosks, or payment terminals). BS/2 specialists demonstrate how a standard ATM can be used not only to perform standard operations, but also to pay for Internet, heating, electricity, and other utilities; to make a bank transfer; or for online banking.
At the company's stand, exhibition visitors can also learn more about the latest hardware capabilities. The stand demonstrates the Contactless technology, which allows you to perform all the standard operations by touching an ATM with a card. Biometric user authentication is another extremely popular technology: customers are identified and authorized to perform actions by their fingerprints, without using PIN codes or other kinds of passwords.
The Wincor World 2012 exhibition will continue until October 18.
