PLUS held an International Forum on Banking Technologies in Moscow
Wednesday, October 30, 2013On October 21–22, a banking technology journal PLUS held an International Forum "Cash Circulation + Self-service. Banking and Retail" in Moscow. During the event, participants had an opportunity to visit the exhibition and get acquainted with the newest companies' products and solutions as well as to listen to expert presentations, discuss relevant issues and share their experience at the specialized conference.
According to Pavel Drobinov, Head of "Penkių kontinentų bankinės technologijos" (BS/2) Business Development Department, this forum is a great possibility for establishing new relations with potential clients and partners as well as feeling the pulse of the market.
"At the forum meetings we discussed important issues and cooperation perspectives. We also had a chance to meet new market players, which helps feel the pulse of the market and look at our own positions from a different angle," said P.Drobinov.
The greatest focus at this year's exhibition was brought on cash flow management topics – products that help reduce costs as well as management process automation and optimization solutions. BS/2 also presented several of its products, corresponding to the important conference topics.
"The solution, which captured greatest attention at our stand was cash operation forecasting and management system Cash Logistics.iQ. This system allows banks or other financial institutions reduce operational costs, manage cash flow circulation processes, monitor controlled financial resources in real time and predict their demand. We also presented SmartSafe.iQ, which manages all cash operations, and Payments.iQ, which expands device functionality with various payment functions. Forum participants also expressed interest in ATMeye.iQ – a video monitoring system that provides a thorough device protection. These products were also demonstrated by BS/2 partners who have successfully implemented these products: Wincor Nixdorf – ATMeye.iQ, Gamma Centre – SmartSafe.iQ," said P.Drobinov.
More than 60 companies took part in the forum and presented their innovations. And more than 40 speakers made presentations on the topics significant to banks and retail companies. In two days, more than a thousand visitors attended the event, including general managers and vice-presidents of financial institutions and IT companies, vendors, implementers and manufacturers of equipment and software solutions. Besides, these numbers are growing each year, which indicates an active interest in innovations and search for new ways to optimize and automate operations in order to improve customer service quality.
